1. The mold should meet the process requirements of die-casting production;
2. The die-castings produced by the die-casting plant should ensure the dimensions and technical requirements specified in the product drawings, reduce the mechanical processing parts and processing allowances;
3. Master the technical specifications of the die-casting machine, give full play to the production capacity of the die-casting machine, and accurately select the installation dimensions;
4. Various parts on the mold should meet the requirements of mechanical processing and heat treatment processes, with appropriate material selection and reasonable matching accuracy to meet various technical requirements;
5. Under the premise of ensuring the quality of castings and safe production, a reasonable, advanced and simple structure should be adopted to reduce the operating procedures, make the movements accurate and reliable, the components have good rigidity, and the wearing parts are easy to disassemble and replace, and easy to maintain;
6. When conditions permit, the mold should be standardized and universal as much as possible to shorten the design and manufacturing cycle and facilitate management.
